The first thing I would try is giving the offending area the hasLayout property. So I would create an IECC that has the zoom:1 property/value... And it appears to me that the ".sidebar .widget" is the first spot to try. (you might also need hasLayout on .sidebar alone)...

Let me know how it goes. :)

Hi! I'm creating a blogger template in my test blog (testesdochico.blogspot.com). All the "cells" of my sidebar have a background. When I have tested it in IE7, the Blog Archive gets cut. And worst, the image repeats, even if I wrote "no-repeat"... What can I do? Is there any solution?

Thanks!

@Virginia - thanks. :) You have to subscribe to my CMX blog -- I'm simply pulling the xml into my site with ColdFusion.

@LP - the image is to the right of the paragraph -- I tried to word it more clearly now.

And to you both -- I updated the post due to some testing Alan's been doing. Appears to be more of a new background bug. How special. :D

There's no link in this sentence -- "If you don't have IE7, here's an image for you to view." And some of us for reasons that we have no control over only have IE6. Really wanted to see the problem.

Excellent articile. Thanks for the information. Your new site looks wonderful, too, but how do you subscribe to the blog?

I have uncovered a variant of the Guillotine which involves two floats and trigger links proceding the floats. IE6 and IE7 shows the Guillotine differently. For examples, please visit.
(Link will be added by Admin in the next comment.)

Regards, Alan
