ohh, I just love you for posting this. Had the same problem and eventually Google came up with your perfect answer! Found that a R.A.D. control I was using was trying to access a stylesheet that didn’t excist although the Skin was set to None.

I also found a similar situation that was causing Safari to show bolded text reversed with white on a dark gray background instead of normal bold.

Turns out my linked style sheet wasn't there + my Tomcat/Apache server was returning a 404 that had this styling inside.

As soon as I moved my .css file to the right place (or removed the refrence), the bold problem went away. Hopefully Google will pick this up for others who run into the problem.

Those stupid red links were threatening to drive me up a wall until I realized that Google is made for situations just like this.

I had this exact same problem a while back! In my case, it was only the link in the footer that was red in Safari — I guess the selectors for the other links on the page were more specific than the 404 CSS? Anyway, I never really looked into it, because I didn’t care about one little red link in Safari, but I’ll have to go back and check it out now. Thanks!
